Old interior design and art magazines provided me the printed paper from which the origami squares were folded, using pages where beautiful art and homes created by others were featured. As I thumbed through the magazines, I found myself tearing out and saving pictures too precious and beautiful for the recycle bin, thus giving these homes and pieces of art a new life.

The layout is a quilt pattern known as "Nine Patch", and the binding is a folded structure made from a single piece of paper developed by Hedi Kyle. The text is a series of poems I wrote about different colors and how I view them.
